We are gearing up for another Texas-sized softball tournament
because "Everything is Bigger 'n Texas!" Join
us Memorial Day weekend (May 24-25, 2008) for the 20th
Annual Lone Star Classic.
B, C, and D Open Division teams are welcome. You must
be NAGAAA-rated to participate (exceptions maybe made
on a case-by-case basis).

Information
Early registration has begun for the 2008 Lone Star Classic.
Register your team before May 1st and pay only $350. Team
registration is $400 after May 1st.

How do I register?
1. Fax your Registration Form to (713) 559-8503 along
with a copy of your check, Google Pay receipt, and voucher
(if applicable). If you are utilizing a check or voucher,
mail these to the address on the Registration Form.
2. Email or Fax your league’s NAGAAA rating form for
your team. If you are utilizing pick-up players, you must
include them on your rating form. Must be received by
May 15, 2008.
3.E-mail your team’s completed roster form. Must be received
by May 15, 2008.
What if I have a voucher
from last year?
Because last year's Lone Star Classic was rained
out, the MSL gave out vouchers for this year's tournament.
Teams with vouchers can register for half price ($175
during early registration and $200 for late registration).
If you have a voucher and would like to register your
team for the 2008 Lone Star Classic, you must first verify
the voucher by sending your voucher information to David
Metz at LSC@MontroseSoftballLeague.com.
After your voucher is verified, David will send you a
link so you can register online for half price.
Events Information
Social Night
This year's social will be a Block Party from 8:00 PM
to 12:00 midnight. Join us at the fields for a rockin’
good time. There will be a party tent, beer specials,
DJ’s and of course… Lone Star Idol!
Lone Star Idol returns for its third year at our Social
Night! This Karaoke-style contest is your team’s chance
to show their talent. Submit your best vocal performer
for a chance to win a $50 bar tab and the Golden Buckle.

Awards Banquet
The Awards Banquet will be at Rich’s Nightclub. Rich's
is located on 2401 San Jacinto. The banquet will last
from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. The awards presentation will begin
at 8:00 PM.
Field Information
All games will be played at Houston
Sportsplex. This six-field complex is located in southwest
Houston, and it features well-lit fields and two separate
concession stands.
Hotel Information
The host hotel for the LSC will be the Houston Intercontinental.
Rooms for the tournament are available from May 23 to
26, 2008. The standard room rate is $89.00. Please be
sure to make your reservations by May 19, 2007.
